| 484321 | 2006-09-13 09:06:00 | Hey there everyone We have a Compaq Proliant ML330e server here that we want to use as a dedicated backup server, probably running two 500GB drives in RAID 0 (don't need to worry about redundancy as the cost would skyrocket if we focussed on that). The system disk would be a 33.6GB 10000RPM Seagate SCSI disk. However, it has come to my attention that it's highly likely that the server won't support drives of such a large size. My question is, can anyone confirm whether it will or not? The server is a Pentium 3 800MHz model with 320MB of ECC RAM. The HP site only seems to list information for the last ML330e which was much later than this one. |
