| 484851 | 2006-09-18 00:23:00 | This has been happening for a while now. Usually I'd have no trouble doing 40 gigs in a month. I currently have 3 days left for the month and I've done less than 20 gigs and that's running 24/7. Changing the ports to higher values i.e. 45000 did help a bit. I downloaded Vista RC1 via a download manager at that had no trouble running at 130 Kb+. P.S. If you want Vista RC1 instead of beta 2 try download.windowsvista.com |

The Vista date is close to release already, lucky before school open. I hope the 45000 port works. I mean to use the maximum of my gb allowance. |

Im useing utorrent - time was 2:15am i was getting a steady 63/kb - 68/kb it got to 88/kb for a little while then droped up and down, so i dont know what to make of it but if your meant to be getting around 200/kb then even 88 is shocking really. :groan: |

| 484857 | 2006-09-18 22:19:00 | Did you let it run for 5-10 minutes so you're seeding parts as well? You're not going to get 200KB/s+ straight off the bat! 80 is better than 30, is it not? See if it keeps up for an hour (Yes, it may mean you go through 3-400MB of your quota, but in the interest of science... besides, you're not using it anyways without torrents reaching full speeds ;) ) and post back after that :) |

| 484858 | 2006-09-19 06:13:00 | Download peaked at 192KB/s, then dropped to 40KB~80KB sec. Port 61000 (if that even is one but it seemed to work). Heh. It's sitting on 65KB/s now on port 45000. Im on ihug too, changing the port did make a difference |
