1407182 2015-08-22 05:32:00 It all started when the Sister-in-laws laptop refused to enter Text in Incredimail.

Ok, so I tried on TeamViewer and I couldn’t either.

However, I could type quite happily in Google’s search box.

I checked the keyboard in Device Manager and it claimed the Keyboard was working properly.

Anyone else ever struck this one?

I was going to check with Notepad but she had visitors arrive so I’ll get back to it tomorrow.

1407185 2015-08-23 01:59:00 I haven’t been able to get back to this problem as Sister-in-law has visitors, but I thought now might be a good time to check on a couple of things.

I have suggested dumping Incredimail but she seems reluctant. I guess it’s what she is used to and it hasn’t given any trouble previously.

Which leads me to ask is Incredimail a standalone E-Mail programme, or does it rely on Internet Explorer or Firefox to operate?

Just wondering if an update to another programme might be responsible for this problem?

1407187 2015-08-23 03:57:00 It should be standalone, it would rely on internet settings. Anyways, the question is when and where can the keyboard be used to control/write in incredimail.

I do agree on getting rid of it though, in past it contained malware/hijackers and maybe a clean up tool has cleaned incredimail that makes it unable to work.

1407188 2015-08-23 07:39:00 I think I fixed this one time by removing Flash player and reinstalling it.
Incredimail... the old girls in particular love all those shiny animations :D... it's such a PITA trying to recover the mailstore from this when it goes belly up.
