| 1407064 | 2015-08-20 01:19:00 | In Windows 7, I've always had 'about:blank' as the default that comes up when I open Internet Eplorer. Now when I click on Internet Explorer it brings up Bing as the default. I don't like it or want it, and want to get rid of it. I've tried numerous suggested remedies found through Google, but none of them has succeeded. I'm still waiting for Windows 10. Two questions: will the new OS get rid of this problem, in which case I can just wait, or if it won't, what if anything is the best way to get rid of Bing? |

| 1407068 | 2015-08-20 07:07:00 | Well. I mucked around (didn't record what I was doing, unfortunately) and suddenly it was gone, and 'about:blank' was back. Thanks, I guess, though I'm not sure for what, since the suggestions weren't any help - it was just a benign accident. |
