1397674 2015-03-31 02:05:00 You're right Cic. Some amazing flying there, especially some of the helicopter moves. You couldn't do that in a Robinson R22. Richard (739)

Talking of Robinson 22's, they have killed quite a few of my acquaintance's .

1397676 2015-03-31 02:31:00 They seem quite prone to falling out of the sky, but pilots I have talked to say that the heli is safe if flown properly, within its limits. All I can say is that there must be a lot of careless pilots out there. Richard (739)
1397677 2015-03-31 06:07:00 What a brill vid made my evening thanks Cic. Re R22/44 graveyard in NZ a lot to do with our climate the wind gusts, wind rotors (lee turbulence on a hill) general turbulence and a teetering see saw rotor head. I have been on board Wasps in Campbell and Auckland Islands with winds much worse than in mainland and they survive ok. One trip pilot came racing back to the ship and said Fleiger Staffen jump in I want to show you something we hooned over the windward cliffs where the General Grant is and he pushed the collective right down (not negative though)but we still shot up, quite incredible. prefect (6291)
