1397398 2015-03-27 01:16:00 Sky have announced last minute that they are broadcasting Motogp racing this year. World Superbikes and British Superbikes are also on their program which is great for fans. Not happy to learn that Indy Cars will only be available online on Sky Go particularly when we have on the best drivers in Scott Dixon. F1 coverage is over the top with the 1.5 to 2 hour race now a program of over 5 hours plus practices and qualifying and other superfluous F1 coverage. Nascar Sprint and Nascar Xfinity? still get a lot of coverage. Anyone use Sky Go? Can programmes be recorded? bellbird (6169)
1397399 2015-03-27 03:39:00 I use SkyGo a bit for watching the Breakers basket ball via a Chromecast to my TV. . It is the worst online streaming system that exists. Low def, buffer - play, buffer - play etc. I suspect you may not be able to record it. paulw (1826)
1397400 2015-03-27 04:12:00 Unless you have the exorbitantly priced hi def box, their picture is pretty crap anyway .

1397401 2015-03-27 04:58:00 I've been talking to Sky and have an understanding how SkyGo works now. Apparently I can go to the Sky website, login and link my account to SkyGo and then remote record to MySky and it'll be in the planner for watching on TV. Can it be that simple? bellbird (6169)
1397402 2015-03-27 05:57:00 Yes it is that simple but yet frustrating getting a good stream. paulw (1826)
1397403 2015-03-27 06:24:00 Talk to two different customer service people at Sky and you get totally conflicting advice, and neither had any understanding of the ESPN3.com live streaming on SkyGo. I can't see that it is able to be recorded to the MySky decoder so that was misinformation. Video quality for some tennis that's on SkyGo at the moment is excellent but sitting at the PC watching isn't any fun. Can't imagine watching an Indycar race this way so will probably give it a miss. Thanks for input paul and kenj. bellbird (6169)
1397404 2015-03-27 08:14:00 You can't record with the Sky GO app, you need the normal Sky TV app for that. Alex B (15479)
