2015-03-30 00:01:00 | The commies are reading a bit too much into a by election Yeah, like 13,000 votes too much for Key to swallow. Don't overlook the fact that Winnie had to come from 9000 Kim John Key-Nut votes behind, just to break even, then he roared ahead by another 4000. Our revered PM didn't even see his smoke! In by-election terms, it was a landslide, and it wiped the smirk off Kim John's face for sure. :D Key and his cohorts made utter fools of themselves with the 'Bridges for Northland' claim, and the rest of the threats and bribes! You can bet he'd have found an insurmountable budget issue just as soon as the dust had settled. It just goes to show that he was running scared, and for very good reason. When Winston goes back into Parliament as an electorate MP, then that may well clear the way for another NZ First list MP. If that happens then Her Majesty's Loyal Opposition might trump the Nats by 1 seat. If that comes to pass, and the other parties are smart enough to vote as a bloc, then the Nats will be a lame duck and will limp to the next election with their arses dragging on the ground. Watch now for the bribes the Nats will give to try and buy the loyalty of their hangers-on! If the minor parties scent power at the next election, then they'll drop Kim John and his motley crew like a roadkill possum pancake. All except ACT of course, they are the looney fringe, out to the right of Ghengis Khan and right at the edge of the solar system. Nobody know what planet they are on! If a majority of 9000 can evaporate overnight (in politcal terms) then some more marginal electorates are very likely to follow suit. Your opinions are at odds with the professional political pundits Prefect, and it's time you dropped the commies bit as well. The 9000+ Northland National voters who pulled the plug on the Dear Leader might be a bit miffed at being labelled with that nomenclature. The writing is on the wall......... Cheers Billy 8-{) :p

And it is a waste of time berating Prefect for referring to 'Commies' when you are just as bad! Sticks and stones and all that. PS Was that the Monday Laugh you just posted?? |

2015-03-30 04:35:00 | You commies need to get your head around by election results especially a 3rd term government. The clowns in the electorate are only thinking of themselves and not the country. Not very patriotic but very typical of Northlanders. You commies are setting yourselves up for another fall if the head of the communist party Little keeps low in the opinion polls and the commies have another blood letting just before the next election.

2015-03-30 04:40:00 | Well, Unless theres a forced Early General Election, the next 3.5 Years is going to be "interesting". Own personal observation, but it appears theres a lot more "reported" and mention of politics than past years. Usually once a General Election is over it all goes quiet after a month or so, unless something stirs up the dust again by some MP doing something they shouldn't, but this time it hasn't really stopped. Must be a lot more pissed of people this time around. Only thing that doesn't change is Prefects Commie pathetic bleats is stuck in repeat repeat repeat mode still. Its actually quite sad :(

2015-03-30 05:10:00 | Shouldn't that be 2.5 yrs WT? Maybe 3.5 years if an inflationary Labour/Green were running the country. Or is inflation only money, not time. :) Ken :)
