1397605 2015-04-01 18:36:00 He confessed therefore he did it

The problem with that argument is that the Courts are now saying he didn’t.

1397606 2015-04-01 19:12:00 DNA evidence proves otherwise.

Rewa is the guilty party here.

1397607 2015-04-01 21:20:00 I guess when the sperm taken from the dead woman’s body matches Rewa’s DNA (not Pora’s) it’s game over isn’t it.

However, the Police manipulating evidence, and paying witnesses, still needs close scrutiny.

1397608 2015-04-02 05:17:00 It is high time that something was done about corruption in the Police Force. They should be held to account, and if their deliberate actions led to wrongful convictions they should contribute to any compensation and/or legal fees incurred. A friend spent 3 years in prison for Murder which should have been manslaughter. The Police lost the "murder" weapon, a skinning knife, after it had been to forensics, and substituted a kitchen knife. They also ignored any evidence that was in her favour. She paid $7,000 dollars to a well known lawyer who turned up drunk and promptly went to sleep. mzee (3324)

1397610 2015-04-06 06:01:00 We didnt really have one this year, well we did but it was really the 10th anniversary challenge. Im keen to have a hardware giveaways/sales thread running for a month so that spare hardware can be distributed to its most efficient place in the team followed by a supercomputer week - what say you guys? ramozEt (17355)
1397611 2015-04-06 06:36:00 He confessed therefore he did it

He was rail roaded in to a confession from the police. Watch the police interviews to see for yourself

1397613 2015-04-06 08:36:00 The Scott Watson case bugs me, I believe he is innocent. I wonder if the jury could be replaced by a panel of judges like France I guess there would be some liberal ones and some hanging judges but it might balance out and come to better decision than the NZ jury system. What happens in the NZ jury system is one or two people on it take control you know what I mean bolshie bastards, the loud mouths you would have seen them at meetings, they are the ones I coin their car afterwards. Some quiet but clever people have doubts get railroaded into a decision not of their choosing. Others there will swing either way. prefect (6291)
