| 1397334 | 2015-03-28 04:45:00 | Waiting for our local doctors - often 1 . 5 to 3 hours . For many common treatments (cold, sore ear, etc) - generally you end up with the same diagnosis and prescriptions . Then another wait to dispense and purchase them . Then told told to come back if need top-ups, or further treatment . Maybe it's time for some kind of app (dial a doctor?) that can provide some help, and with wearables (heart monitors/blood pressure etc) for instant contact and medical advice, remedies, etc, with a virtual or real doctor . Lot of "big health data" that has accumulated over the years that can be used - and to communicate with via apps, wearables and mobile phones . Discussed in Wired . "I haven't been looking forward to this being done" He replied "You don't think I woke up this morning thinking.... 'looking forward to seeing Kenj today', do you?" Ken :) :) |
