1406693 2015-08-15 09:58:00 How do we do NOD32 for an Ipad? Can we? He has a 2 device license for NOD but we can't work out this Ipad business, it's running OS8. pctek (84)
1406694 2015-08-15 21:12:00 The short answer is that you don't need nortons on an iPad or any apple device. If you didn't buy the app from the App Store then don't bother trying to work out how to go about installing it. Webdevguy (17166)
1406695 2015-08-15 21:21:00 Norton's and Apple an awesome mix of creative uselessness.

However Nod32 isn't Norton's so will be useful if it can be made to work, unfortunately the iCrowd like to bury their collective heads in the sand and deny their beloved product has vulnerabilities :devil which the non believers no is not true.

PCtek
it does look like its only available for Mac computers not tablets.

Not really, as long as Apple can continue to identify security issues at their end and patch them quickly it's not a particularly far fetched statement at all.

A number of newly discovered vulnerabilities affecting Apple’s Mac OS X and iOS operating systems could allow attackers to steal passwords and other credentials if successfully exploited. The vulnerabilities were uncovered by a team of researchers based in the University of Indiana, who discovered that the four separate flaws could allow a malicious app to bypass security controls and steal sensitive data from other apps. The vulnerabilities were reported to Apple in October 2014 and the company said it would require six months to roll out fixes. Although some issues have been addressed, most of the vulnerabilities remain unpatched.

On June 5, 2015 Symantec reported another

Symantec says a critical vulnerability within some Apple Mac models could allow hackers to inject systems with persistent rootkit malware.
