| 485025 | 2006-09-15 21:00:00 | Trying to send the vid signal to my home theater, the pix goes there for a few moments and then defaults back to the puter crt . I've tried cloning and dual mode . . . but they all come back to the crt after a few moments . Using VID-1 on the VCR tuner, and even when the signal returns to the puter, the screen on the tv doesn't go blue . . . it stays black like there's still some command runing on it . I have set up the toggle to the home theater as Alt+F12, Dual-mode as Alt+F11, and they work well . . . . . . they just don't stick . I have not however had any luck in getting Power DVD to run on the other screens . . . they just stay black while it plays happily on the crt here . I can see the mouse pointer on those screens at that time however . GeForce FX 5500, AGP/256 mB DDR Any ideas? :help: |

| 485027 | 2006-09-16 04:37:00 | Are u configuring it with the right drivers for the card? And not using Window's drivers? Plug it into the TV not thru the video. |

| 485029 | 2006-09-16 04:46:00 | Also if you're trying to watch DVDs on TV from a computer, some programs do block the video / use macrovision. Which some versions (or the earlier versions of the Nvidia drivers had / installed as part of the install). |

Also if you're trying to watch DVDs on TV from a computer, some programs do block the video / use macrovision. OK...now I am a LITTLE confused.... I got the thing fixed that defaulted back to the CRT/monitor..so that's OK now. Have found I CAN see things like U Tube vids and a few of the files on WMP..I don't know why just some of them...but absolutely not all of them play on the other screen at the same time. Do you mean that I have to use Macrovision?.....and where's the setting for that.... If there's a default program installed on the card...can it be disabled? Or do I get stuck with what I have? So many questions....I want to send vid's I have ripped on my HD to my home theater....got the sound output ok...would really like to use a composite fiber-signal or maybe a S-to-RCA (www.svideo.com)(RGB) or this adapter (www.svideo.com)...any ideas? |
