| 485225 | 2006-09-17 11:31:00 | This could have no relevance but AI was under the impression that is was impossible to burn files over a certain size while using the iso format. There was another format that was avalable but that probably wouldnt help on your RW disc that would already have been formated | Erin (10571) | ||
| 485226 | 2006-09-18 02:24:00 | From the Nero FAQ (ww2.nero.com) - you can't burn files greater than 2GB in normal DVD (iso) mode. You need to use DVD (udf) mode for large files. | autechre (266) | ||

Thanks for the resolution of that mildly irritating enigma. From their FAQ's: Nero Express is a limited version and does not support the DVD (UDF) format, so you can not write data files larger than 2 GB using this software.Pretty much the conclusion I came to: I'm beginning to think it's a limitation of Nero Express (ver 6) Cheers Autechre. I did actually look at their FAQ's but obviously not well enough. |

| 485228 | 2006-09-25 18:29:00 | Now there comes an other problem... I HAVE burnt files > 2 Gb in iso mode. For a long time I wondered what was wrong, until someone explained me that I should have burnt them in udf. I removed the files from my hd. Can someone explain me the following things? - Is just the file index wrong and are the bytes burnt as they were on my harddisk? - Is there some programm that can analyze the burnt bytes and make an udf index from it? |
