| 485587 | 2006-09-23 06:17:00 | Anyone know of a driver that Vista likes for the Sil3512 chip! My SATA drivers are using it thou not in raid at present. The chip comes on the Mobo in my sign. Vista doesnt find the drives/partitions even after using the drivers for XP off the Gigabyte web site. |

I will wait until my inbox is full before I send any replies. At this stage we will allow 150 - 200 downloads. | 485591 | 2006-09-26 22:56:00 | Was going to dl the 5728, as i have internet connection issues with rc1 5600. I am in Napier if anyone wants a cut dvd, just pm me. My mobo is nv3 ultra chipset with nv LAN & Marvel LAN. Now for some reason the darn thing keeps dropping the internet. If i go to network share etc, see my pc, the network (linksys router) then the internet with broken line, it trys to fix by reseting the NIC, but as soon as running again, it drops. Apart from that I love the layout of vista, great graphics, gadgets, and the way they group stuff now. very good.... |

| 485592 | 2006-09-30 03:08:00 | Well I downloaded it and have it running, I like this, it is great, but there are a few problems, but that is to be expected... so far I have only got two problems/annoyances and they are: 1. I am unable to access most websites... IE Google I can not get to, I am lucky because I can get to PF1 :D but nowhere else that I have found... wait... I can get to Ascent and Pricespy, both are .co.nz... I am unable to get to any .com though... and all works fine on XP... there must be a setting somewhere... but I have not found it. and 2. WMP does not play in surround sound for 2 channel files (simulated surround sound) but there might be a setting for this somewhere... Anyone had these problems and know how to fix them? |

| 485593 | 2006-09-30 03:57:00 | Over the past week I have downloaded the Vista file three times. No problem doing that. I have the downloaded file in a temporary folder. All 2.52 gigs of it. What do I do with this file to make it useable? If I use Nero 6 to transfer it to DVD, I just get the same file on DVD. I guess it needs de-compressing or something. But the file can not be used as is. Just ond big *.ISO file. No exe file in site. |
