I thought of doing what you had suggested initially, but the "student info" of Auckland University advised me to print out the pdf file and post it instead. Thanks anyway for your suggestion. :D There are often protocols regarding the use and acceptance of such official forms, in that if you were to "edit it" then a lot of places would refuse to accept it electronically (or just bin it and not tell you), as you could also have "accidentally" (or deliberately) changed a word or two in the form which, if they accepted it by not noticing, could pose a liability later. Just be careful that you do not ruin your chances by an unintentional action. If they wanted you to fill it out on your PC and email it back, they would have used Word as the format? But just to clarify a point above, the form can be converted to Word using appropriate software (not free) but some formatting goes slightly awry. I tried it.... Thanks for your advice, godfather, but I want everything to be formal and tidy (my handwritings aren't very great) especially for University applications where the tidiness and presentation of the application forms provide a first impression of the applicants Cheers :) |
