I started my computer (HP pavillion/ millenium) after relocating and got a pop up, I suspect from an email, that promoted Clean Up! your computer. Clicked the exit box and an advertisers dream toolbar with search function appeared on Windows explorer and IE. I cant seem to evict it and suspect it has something to do with a kill and clean virus? I see a flash of an About.blank page on closedown when no such page was apparently open if this is relevant. Any advice?:help: |

| 485748 | 2006-09-19 09:48:00 | Sounds like you have malware on your computer. You don't mention whether you use any antivirus or antispyware programs. Have read through this FAQ on Spyware, Adware & Viruses (faqf1.net.nz) and see if that helps. Post back with how you get on. :) |
