485367 2006-09-17 23:21:00 is it possible to set up a wireless network between two laptops that both have wireless built in? Jimmy D (2061)
485368 2006-09-17 23:44:00 I don't think so, you will need a wireless AP or router to bridge the connection between the 2 laptops. I don't think wireless works between 2 stations like laplinking or direct cable connections do.

Hope that helps

485369 2006-09-18 00:04:00 Yeah you can, it called ad-hoc mode. It allows wireless devices to connect without an AP. Pete O'Neil (6584)

Well it shows you learn something new every day.
