| 485987 | 2006-09-21 00:09:00 | I have two flash drives, a Sony Microvault and a no name brand. My XP SP2 system does not recognise either, I plug them into the USB port but there is no response. I have confirmed that the USB port works with other devices. Any ideas? Gerryb |

| 485988 | 2006-09-21 00:28:00 | can you see removable drives in "my computer"? suggest you have a look at the bios, see if there is any setting for usb mass storage. |

| 485989 | 2006-09-21 00:40:00 | I assume you have tested these drives in another computer, to make sure that they aren't faulty. Other than that, judging by what you're saying, windows isn't even picking them up. Right click on My Computer, go to Properties-Hardware-Device manager, and see if they are in there (they may have an exclamation mark next to them). Oh - and welcome to PressF1 |
