485951 2006-09-20 23:02:00 We had Broadband installed last week. Since then we get lines on TV 1 an all our TV's. Could this be related to the Broadband? Has anyone else had a Tv reception problem Macs (11171)
485952 2006-09-21 00:23:00 Possibly, but that would depend on what frequency your "TV1" is on. That depends on where you live and how good your antenna system is.

I used to get low band VHF interference (horizontal line flicker) with my old network, when ADSL (or any "network traffic") was present. Upgraded to a better antenna and re-routed the antenna cabling away from the network and all was well.

So yes, it is a possibility but should be eliminated with a good aerial system, provided you are in a good signal area

485953 2006-09-21 00:39:00 Try turning off the ADSL modem. If the lines go away, it's causing a problem. If they don't, try unplugging the modem's external power supply. Some power supplies can radiate quite strongly. They shouldn't do that. ;) Graham L (2)

We are in a wonderful location for reception and with new system etc. So will try turning ADSL off and / re tune the TV's.
