2006-09-21 08:38:00 | Laptops and Notebooks are not generally used for Gaming! They are expensive to upgrade as well as it happens. If it were me I would upgrade your current desktop. And I was prepared to pay for laptops upgrades, since after getting advise from many people I feel that you guys are right about laptops. They're costly and with limited upgrades. Since laptops are useless for the moment what desktop should I got to? AMD or Intel and can I built one gaming PC and high end app with $1500? Processor? Turion X2(give me a high end AMD) or Core 2 Duo? Thank you guys.

2006-09-21 08:43:00 | 1: dont waste your money on a laptop UNLESS its for business and you travel alot. 2: when buying a desktop ask yourself what your REALLY gonna be using it for. so far youve said, gaming, download, and video editing. so basically you want a fairly high endish comp. 2grand or less will get you a awesome comp. amd 4400+ 7800gt 2gbs of ram 450watt psu or more and a fairly good mobo to go with it add a 250gb seagate hdd and youve got yourself a lean, mean, not too expensive, gaming downloading video editing machine! AMD 4400+ clock speed? 7800GT a good graphic card? :D I'm very happy with your comp spec provided with less than 2 grand. Wow, the other money I can use it for investment. Is it included with the monitor, keyboard + mouse and speakers?

You need more for a high end gaming machine. The 7800 is slipping down the list now - for high end you'd want at least a 7950GT or more. And thats going to cost a lot more. |

2006-09-25 09:59:00 | Waa!! The Nvidia 7900GT cost too much for me. I'll go for 7600GT because I think I need to reduce my money outflow for desktop. Because Desktops price can drop easily. :DThank you guys. I'll go for: AMD Athalon 4400+ AM2 1GB DDR2 PC4200 RAM ASUS M2NPV-MX 250GB SATA II Seagate HDD 400W AcBel PSU NZXT "Apollo Black" ATX Case Microsoft Wired Desktop 500 Keyboard + Mouse ViewSonic VA702B 17" Monitor 12ms Is this a good deal for around $1900?:illogical

2006-09-25 11:59:00 | dude...DDUUUUUDE....7600?!?! NO dont get it, for 1900 that is NOT a good deal, jeez. the comp i posted is MUCH, MUCH better, and the only difference between the one your wanting to get and the one i posted, is that your one comes with a crappier graphics card, 1gb less ram, and it comes with some crap ol lcd screen(17'' lcd screens only cost round 200 nowa days) so i mean, you can get the comp i posted, which is much beter, for like...1850 if you wanted, 200 for screen and 50 for mouse and keyboard...

2006-09-25 12:07:00 | k so heres the comp ive packaged up for ya, now with everything to get you going. etccomputers.co.nz etccomputers.co.nz etccomputers.co.nz etccomputers.co.nz etccomputers.co.nz etccomputers.co.nz etccomputers.co.nz etccomputers.co.nz total price...$1800-1850 before you say that the 7900gt is TOO expensive, it isnt, its worth it. 7600, and anything oether than 7 series, and lower than 7800, is a piece of crap. a computers graphics card is something you DONT want to skimp on, its a neccesity these days, games are only gonna get more demanding, not crapper, so youll be thanking me you have a 7900gt when games like crysis comes out, or when you want to play anything like bf2, where 7300 probably wouldnt be able to play bf2 at even medium.. dude, the pc i am showing you, is CHEAPER AND BETTER! thank you. btw: etccomputers is a awesome shop, ive bought my 66gt from there, and some ram, and my mate bought a massive comp similiar to this one just a lil crapper from there too.
