| 486044 | 2006-11-16 21:02:00 | Hopefully this will help others. I reinstalled Mcafee after the %1-%2 issue reappeared, to no avail. I downloaded Windows ME to get the file [wininit.exe]I was told is missing, to no avail. I then uninstalled Mcafee and tried the free Panda AV. Voila! No more error messages, my computer boots faster and my 'sticking' cursor', which I thought was a different issue altogether, is working properly. | stephan08611 (10225) | ||
