Got one today about a transaction we made in Oz about 2 weeks ago with transaction details etc. Callled Visa NZ and they said it was a scam.. Question is . Presume you have checked for possible keylogger. Got same Bank advice re being a scam. Oh Yes, Did that when it first arrived. Had an exe file in the zip. A dead give away.. The interesting thing was we were in oz several days before the supposed transaction was supoosed to have happend and the amout for a dress my wife bought was for aproximatly that amount.. Hence the reason we called Visa NZ after I checked the contents of the zip and found an exe.. |

| 486719 | 2006-09-23 21:22:00 | I lost a friend because of an internet credit card scam... she used her credit card to buy an air ticket online for me when i was with her, and then a few weeks later someone else started purchasing stuff online using her numbers and she thought it was me! :( We had a big arguement about it, I told her i was upset that she even considered it was me, that I wouldn't do that to a friend, or even be stupid enough to do it as I know how they can track it anyways... but I was the only one who had known her details... after bank investigated it, it turned out it was someone else... and not me.. but too late, our friendshp was lost... cue the sad violins... :P | bizzack (7739) | ||
