| 487192 | 2006-09-25 07:02:00 | Hi I am familiar with the hosts file, and have blocked urls by name but it doesn't seem to work to block by IP address. I have also configured my router to divert any url requests from particular sites to 127.0.0.1 but once again if the IP address is entered in the user's browser it gets past. Essentially I don't want my kids accessing Bebo (207.7.149.50) due to issues and I can't be there all the time to police it - especially with the holidays happening. Any ideas? |
