| 487156 | 2006-09-25 04:13:00 | does anyone know of a free proxy program or free proxy that hides your operating system from websites detecting it and it also have to support java? I have alot of free proxy but websites can still detect my operating system when I use them. |

If you are also behind a hardware firewall or NAT router it shouldn't be possible to gain any extra information remotely unless you use another program which provides it. In Firefox type about:config in the URL entry and enter "useragent" in the search field on the screen it provides. This will let you change your complete user agent string, including all OS details. |
