| 486921 | 2006-09-24 00:05:00 | Hi, I have an ongoing issue where I lose access to my network between my desktop & HTPC . I'll hover the mouse over a shared folder (single-click), then all my shared resources disappear . It happens after running the HTPC for a few days with hibernating & resuming . Though not sure if this is related in any way because I think it also happens with the HTPC running 24/7 . I can successfully ping in both directions . If I reboot my HTPC I get the connection back . I have WinXP Home on my desktop & XP Pro on my HTPC . Desktop is Windows updated though HTPC only has up to SP2 as it's not internet-connected . any ideas?? |
