| 487068 | 2006-09-24 22:25:00 | You can buy a PCI USB 2.0 card to fit into the PC. These come with 2,3 or 4 USB ports on them. | CYaBro (73) | ||
| 487069 | 2006-09-24 23:14:00 | A friend has just been gifted a nice new Canon USB Printer. Problem is, his faithful old computer doesn’t have any USB ports. :rolleyes: Is there any way around this little hic-up? :confused: For a moment I thought the USB printer doesn't have a USB port on it! If your friend has a parallel port on his / her computer, perhaps you can get a parallel-to-USB adaptor for him / her? Cheers :) |

| 487070 | 2006-09-24 23:20:00 | Does the printer have drivers for whatever version of Windows he's running? If so, USB expansion cards are very cheap - just put one in a spare PCI slot. | somebody (208) | ||

| 487074 | 2006-09-25 00:55:00 | If it's too old to have USB ports it might pay to check that it has PCI :-) | PaulD (232) | ||
