487761 2006-09-28 00:52:00 Hello. I have a list of codes in a column. Like R, B, Bl, Br, G

Each one stands for a colour and I have a list of 200 already typed in. How can I use some formula to make R appear as Red, G to appear as Green, Br to appear as Brown.....etc

I've messed with IF statements, Replace statements and a few others. I'm close, but no cigar - can someone help me please. And, thank you.

487762 2006-09-28 01:02:00 Hi yorkie. Does Edit > Replace not work? I know that it would require a transaction for each abbreviation but it would do all examples of the same abbreviation at once. Scouse (83)
487763 2006-09-28 01:22:00 :) Yup - that'll do it. I was just trying to be clever (Yeah Right), by finding a formula for a quicker fix. But I've used your suggestion now and so all is good. Thank you - THREAD CLOSED yorkshirekid (9033)
