| 487749 | 2006-09-27 23:17:00 | Two simple, similar, but infuriating problems: In IE6 how do I get a new window to open in the background (or even minimised) so I can carry on reading the page I am on (this is why I usually use tabs in Firefox). Similarly in Outlook 2003, when I read email with a URL link, how do I get the link to open in the background, so I can carry on reading the email while it loads. Firefox is the default browser. Even minimised would be better than foreground. |

| 487752 | 2006-09-27 23:58:00 | I have IE6 because plenty of webpages don't show correctly or plain don't work on firefox. When I right click a link and select 'open in new window' i want the new window loading in the background (or minimised if I can't get it in the background). I use outlook because it has a calendar: thunderbird doesn't. (and have you ever tried migrating your old mozilla or thunderbird files to a new thunderbird? It's a nightmare) |
