487630 2006-09-27 08:26:00 Guys and gals,

Trying to copy screeds of e-mails from one PC to another. I've got as far as copying the .dbx files from Windows Explorer onto a CD and got the files showing on the other PC....

When I click on a folder from the CD, I get the ever-lovely message telling me to hunt for a program(me) to use to open the file.

So, I played around a bit, and somehow got OE onto the list of programs that I could select to open the file.

So, now I'm stuck.

How do I get the .dbx files from the CD into the OE program(me) to read the e-mails?

Thanks all
Tim

487632 2006-09-27 08:37:00 Is the other PC on the net / get email?

Must be why you want to copy emails to it?

If the other pc is on the net and has its own email (or even the same email) .

Why dont u just send / forward the emails to it? And open OE on this other PC to get them .

Most probably easier than what you're trying to do now .
