| 487746 | 2006-09-27 23:44:00 | Hi I have a problem with windows explorer, whenever I unzip or extract a file the structure of the directory folders go haywire. I extract a file using windows extraction wizard, the directory tree on the left then updates and I end up with 5 or more desktop icons (each one different) and when i click on one and try and view a file I get a warning that this file or folder does not exist. I can use the files but the warnings and file confusion is a real pain This only happens when i unzip something, I used to have Winrar but uninstalled that and the problem continues I hope i have explained it enough :) I run Windows XP SP2 with all the latest upgrades. All help appreciated Cheers Tony |
