487561 2006-09-27 03:46:00 do xtra's new plans have free national data? If not, why not? can't xtra's billing systems differentiate between national and international data? I don't see why new zealanders can't have free national data. lance4k (4644)

I don’t think so

The reason why Xtra users can’t get free national data (like Xnet etc...) is because Xtra / telcome have removed peering from NZ peering point like the APE (Auckland Peering Exchange.) - ape.nzix.net/ - http:

I Hope this helps :)
