| 488352 | 2006-09-30 10:51:00 | Go to My Computer > your hard drive & see how much free disk space you have Also when your there left click on your hard drive & bring up the hard drive properties when there at the bottom of the window you may see these text labels: “Compress drive to save disk space” & “allow indexing service to index this disk for fast file searching” Are they ticked? If so un tick them. Hope this helps :) |

Start/My Computer Right click on your drive and choose Properties Click on the Tools tab Under Error-checking click Check Now Tick both boxes then Start Windows may ask to check the drive after a restart . That's normal . See how that goes . g |
