| 488294 | 2006-09-30 07:56:00 | Hi all, returning to using the scanner on my all-in-one HP PS2575, and I'm having quality issues again. This time, I'm scanning a picture from a newspaper, and there's a huge difference between the image shown in the preview prior to accepting the scan, and the image that gets finally gets saved. The original image would be a little smaller than A4, and shows up fine in the preview, but when it loads up in an image editor later, it has to show the image at about 25% to fit on the screen, and it looks like a checker board. If I zoom out to 100%, the quality is fine, but I can only see a fraction of the image. I've tried resizing the image, but that doesn't seem to make any difference... Any ideas? |
