487919 2006-09-28 21:34:00 I have just downloaded a 2.52 gig *.iso file. It is stiing on my desktop.

How do I open it and install it?

487920 2006-09-28 21:45:00 you'll either have to write it to dvd using nero as an image file......or else you can open it using winiso or similar and then extract the files.....or else you can 'mount' it into a 'virtual cd' drive.... drcspy (146)

Will a DVD hold 2.5 gigs? If it does will it install the program?

487924 2006-09-28 23:49:00 I've just bought a blank dvd and am waiting for the file to transfer itself to it.
I don't realy know what I'm doing.

If it transfers properly and if it will install I'll be playing with Vista very soon.

If you don't hear from me for a few days you'll know something went wrong and I'm trying to install XP all over again. :help: :help: :help:

487928 2006-09-29 02:07:00 Wha...???
Nero should have the option to burn an image file (iso)
Though I'm not sure if V5 does DVD's.

Then you have to select the actual iso file.

And then use the burn function using the DVD mode.
