| 488770 | 2006-10-03 07:28:00 | Hmm according to the MS site (www.microsoft.com) Q: How can I disable cd-rom on my workstations through a GPO? A: Check out these two policy settings: User ConfigurationAdministrative TemplatesWindows ComponentsWindows Explorer | Hide these specified drives in My Computer And User ConfigurationAdministrative TemplatesWindows ComponentsWindows Explorer | Prevent access to drives from My Computer This is after running gpedit.msc But it looks like this will disable access for all users not just guests. |
