| 488732 | 2006-10-03 04:03:00 | The Brother printer is getting fairly lomg in the tooth. HL1230 started a few months back bringing up the Alarm light intermitantly (a press of the reset, or withdrawing & pressing home the toner mechanism fixed the Alarm) but then it started occuring 5-10 times a day. As well a more frequent creaking from the internal gearing, I let it retire. I purchased a HL1430, connected it up, and within a day, it comes up with the same problem, Alarm light present, remove & press in the toner cartridge fixes the fault. But, hey this shouldnt be happening. So, any ideas out there whats going on? |
