However, a quick and simple way of overwriting an existing text area is to open the graphic in Word and then position a Text box over the existing text. Write in the new Text box. | 488776 | 2006-10-03 08:41:00 | Ok for a start - it's an image, pure and simple, and not text, nor a document. You can do it in Paint, but it's a slow painstaking process - I made an atempt using Photoshop here (www.imagef1.net.nz), and gave up after 20 minutes. Photoshop, or the free Gimp could do it a heck of a lot easier if you knew what the font is. In which case you'd open the file, use the clone tool to erase the words you want to overwrite; create a new image with your name, as a transparent gif, then copy and paste it into the the existing image. That's about the best way I can explain it. Why do you need to do this... it'd be much simpler if you just created a whole new image. |
