2006-10-06 04:41:00 | Can someone help me to do the port forwarding thing in Utorrent? It doesn't work for me, whenever I try to do the port forwarding and enter the NAT rule entry when I click submit I get this: "ERROR 501 method not implemented" :illogical Anyone got any suggestions/help? By the way my modem is as follows: D-Link DSL 302G version 2 Thankyou to anyone that can help.

2006-10-06 06:18:00 | Been there, done that... the Xtra firmware seems to not let you forward the ports... but there is a work around instructions below :) 1. go run and type "cmd" and press enter 2. Type "telnet 10.1.1.1" and press enter 3. Login to the console using the username admin password admin (or whatever you may have changed the admin password to) 4. Type "create nat rule entry ruleid ANY NUMBER rdr lcladdrfrom YOUR IP ADDRESS lcladdrto YOUR IP ADDRESS destportfrom num PORT destportto num PORT lclport num PORT" press enter 5. Type "commit" press enter 6. Type "exit" - done! Replace ANY NUMBER with... well any number (this is the rule id) Replace YOUR IP ADDRESS with the ip address of your PC, I suggest you set this in network connections manually. Replace PORT with the port number you wish to forward. That is all you have to do, quiet simple really

2006-10-06 06:54:00 | Gizmoguy I have already tried that. And David it says "ERROR: Entry already exists" But when I test if the port is forwarded it says "Error! Port 35750 does not appear to be open." I tried like 5 different ports and rule entrys from 1-9... What the !@#$ is wrong with it ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

2006-10-06 08:23:00 | I am not familialr with ZA, but if you go into the config and there should be a page with port forward or similar... | The_End_Of_Reality (334) | |
2006-10-06 21:50:00 | I have forwarded all the ports so that ZA will allow them. But I still get "Entry already exists" in the telnet thing. But when I check if the port is forwarded...It's not. Any suggestions?

2006-10-06 22:14:00 | Use Azureus... azureus.sourceforge.net and go in to your router (if applicable) and DMZ yourself under Security or Applications and Gaming, Also disable ALL firewalls, Azureus comes with a NAT tester for a specified port, use ports 49000-52000 | DigitalMessiah (7649) | |
