| 489147 | 2006-10-04 07:05:00 | Heh, alright: 1) Is their a IRC server that anyone knows of that's full of people from NZ that I can talk on? :) 2) If there isn't, would anyone use it if I purchased a small VPS and set up a ircd? :) 3) Does anyone know of any NZ webhosts that sell shell(ssh) accounts? :cool: |

| 489148 | 2006-10-04 07:24:00 | There are programs like Mirc (www.mirc.com) and a few others, that have heaps of servers u can connect to chat to heaps of people in NZ and overseas. Only thing is, this isnt free. BUT, I dont think it'll die on you. |

When I last used mIRC a few years back there were a couple of NZ based servers for NZer's, but couldnt confirm anything today. I dont go to a lot of different servers. most probably why I dont know which ones have kiwis on them. I'll rather use Mirc, than Yahoo, MSN, Windows Messenger or any other IM program. |
