| 489054 | 2006-10-04 03:19:00 | I'm trying to set up woosh with a Linksys WRT54g router & it isn't working. I can connect the Woosh modem directly to my computer & connect fine with a standard PPPOE connection, but when I plug the modem into the WAN port on the router & give it the same details, it says "can not get ip address from PPPOE server" |

| 489055 | 2006-10-04 06:01:00 | After spending a couple of hours on the phone to Linksys & them making me jump through all sorts of hoops, they told me that there is a new firmware version out that is only available on the US site. If I knew I didn't have the latest firmware, I would have tried that first |

From what i can remember its something to do with the firewall, the WAN port has more safeguards compared to the switch ports. Do the Woosh modems have a DCHP server? If it does it would be easy just to plug it into the WRT54G switch port and disable routing. | Pete O'Neil (6584) | ||

| 489058 | 2006-12-06 06:36:00 | Hcl, Could you tell me what steps you took to install the woosh modem with the wrt54g router? I have the same router and right now completely stumped trying to install it. I rang the woosh customer service and they are no help at all. Thanks very much! Welli |
