I have just built a new machine with an intel pentium dual core processor 2.8G, 2GB of ram and a graphics card with an HDV output. I reused two IDE harddrives, one 200GB, one 80GB both are partitioned into two logical drives. I run windows xp home with SP2. The machine was built for video editing.
What software is available to benchmark the machine and determine how fast it is at microsoft office and pinnacle studio 10.5 applications. It does not appear to be fast to me, but I realise without benchmarking this is just a subjective assessment. The benchmarking software does not need to be free, I am happy to pay for software that would allow me to tweak the system and measure the changes. |
