| 490088 | 2006-10-08 08:39:00 | My printer is mutifunction which I can print, copy and scanner. It model is brother DCP-110C. When I finished install the software and open the scanner but it's not working. It shows up the message that "the scanner software could not be found or your scanner is not connected. Please make sure your scanner software and your scanner are problably installed" but i'm sure i have installed all of them. i have tried to turn off and on my printer and restart my computer but the problem is still there. I already have tried to installed and reinstall the software but it's no change. Please help me with that. Thanks | DuyNZ (10405) | ||

Don't plug it in, install all the software in the order its tells you to, then plug the machine in only when it asks you to. See what happens then. |

I was able to get it going for her and it may not be the same answer for you, but look in "My Computer" and see if your Scanner/Printer shows as a separate drive entry......if it does, click it and see if it brings the scanner software up. Of course, be sure that your Multifunction is powered up. |
