| 489890 | 2006-10-11 07:18:00 | Whats does the BSOD say?? It may give us a clue on whats causing it . I wouldnt be surprised if its the drivers, the latest Nvidia drivers if theyre the latest drivers are crap . They kept crashing the other PC when I had them installed . Until I replaced the vidcard with an ATI card . And it hasnt crashed yet . Altho, the CPU frequency prob didnt happen on the other PC here . The BSOD did say "DRIVER_NOT_LESS_THAN_OR_EQUAL", give or take a "_" but, i have installed the AMD Optimiser again, and i have no BSOD so far . i get around 5000 3D mark points when i run it (5500 when i boost the 3D core clock speed fraction) . 3D mark 06 that is . And if anyone is familiar with a game called Counter Strike source, i get some very crappy performance out of that . averages around 80FPS on 1024x768 res . . . . |

| 489891 | 2006-10-11 11:30:00 | GAH! . something is seriously odd about this rig . i still get the same error message before it gets to post, but aswell as it saying "POST error", it will will change between "CMOS Error" on alternative boots . . . holy crap . i was suggested these components by the place i bought it from . am i allowed to throw a paddy and request an Intel setup ? |
