2006-10-08 05:08:00 | Nice job indeed. :) My only suggestion is the "Meet the team" page. Would it not be better to have the captions alongside the picture of the person concerned?

Not sure what you mean Tazz. When I look at it the captions show clearly against Claire, Barbara and Julie in turn - directly opposite their pictures !!! Misty  |

2006-10-08 10:21:00 | The words deputy daughters to Google give it a #1 location hit as well. Impressive ....Not that impressive really... unique or seldom used key phrases easily gain a high ranking in the top search engines. | Greg (193) | |
2006-10-08 10:38:00 | Not that impressive really... unique or seldom used key phrases easily gain a high ranking in the top search engines. That is the impressive part, that such ordinary words that they have chosen, even when not combined in quotes are unusual enough to be found as #1. It makes the site easily findable by anyone that knows just the two words used in the name. The word choice for the company name is therefore both quite intelligent and impressive in my view. Even in reverse order it's in the top 20. It's a well thought out marketing strategy, as is the .com part. It should be a franchise opportunity.

2006-10-08 23:34:00 | Looks good:thumbs: Tell her to run the pages through the HTML validator here http://www.htmlhelp.com/ it will help her iron out a few minor wrinkles. Also put something better in the title tags eg. <title>Deputy Daughters :: Caring, Compassionate, Honest & Dependable</title> Also try using h tags, h1 for the main site heading h2 for other headings. All she needs to do is put her styles in a seperate css file and change some of the style names from .style to h1 etc

2006-10-09 03:13:00 | I'm using Firefox 1.5.0.3 on Suse Linux 10.1 and the pictures line up properly. I haven't checked in Konqueror. | TGoddard (7263) | |
2006-10-09 03:29:00 | Your daughter has done a nice job Misty :) Just one suggestion: in the file names make the file names all lower case ;) eg: About_Us.html should be: about_us.html etc... That doesn't really matter, if the links are also case sensive. If it is on a Windows server it doesn't matter at all.

2006-10-09 03:58:00 | That doesn't really matter Umm, yes it does A. Looks better, in search engine results B. Just looks better & more professional. if the links are also case sensive. If it is on a Windows server it doesn't matter at all. Yeath, but 90% of the time most sites are not on windows server ;)
