490643 2006-10-11 04:36:00 When I try to copy my WMV movie (from Windows XP Movie Maker) Nero O.E.M. version will not burn to DVD. What do I need to copy a movie to my Pioneer 110 DVD burner? Krad (7878)
490644 2006-10-11 04:44:00 You need something like Nerovision, or a program that can convert other formats to DVD format. Speedy Gonzales (78)
490645 2006-10-11 20:24:00 I can't remember a tool I recommended for someone else, all I remember is it's a WMV convertor but can't remember what format it converted to, I think it was AVI which can then be burnt as DVD with NERO, or it converted it to DVD. I would have to check with the person who I did this for, to find out what tool I gave him, it was downloaded on the net, came with a Trial version I think, but we purchased the full version.

Cheers,

490647 2006-10-11 23:25:00 i had the same problem, when trying to burn to DVD with nero it said the file needed to be *.VOB so i converted the WMV file to VOB but then it said it couldnt burn it, i can't remember what it told me, something like can't burn blah blah video_ts blah blah or something. 490648 2006-10-12 00:02:00 You have to have some other supporting dvd-structure files. The app I suggested is good, it generates them all for you :) Its fast, simple, easy..

Then you copy the output folder (it makes a few but they're empty except video_ts) into the video_ts folder in Nero (when you tell Nero you're burning a Video DVD).

You _MUST_ tell Nero you're burning a Video DVD and not just make the folders yourself, othewise it'll burn it as a different filesystem :(
