This is not the most pressing technical question facing the world but can someone tell me how to automatically get say a wav file to start playing as soon as an email is opened?!!

go to control panel>sounds & audio devices>sounds tab. Here you can associates different sounds to general windows commands..... |

you could make it part of an HTML page but....PLEASE don't. i pity any poor soul how has anything atuomatic runing off an email. email should be designed so that NOTHING runs automaticly. |

Sorry should have made myself clearer so that can send an email with a wav file and it automatically plays when it opened by the recipient! |

yeh you wouln'dt want to do it with a .wav file cause it'd be quite large even for a few seconds of sound.....if you convert it to mp3 that'd help a lot in that regard......getting it to play automatically......yep well it'd have to be 'embedded' into a html email..... |
