490422 2006-10-09 22:19:00 This is not the most pressing technical question facing the world but can someone tell me how to automatically get say a “wav” file to start playing as soon as an email is opened?!!

490424 2006-10-09 23:10:00 you could make it part of an HTML page but....PLEASE don't. i pity any poor soul how has anything atuomatic runing off an email. email should be designed so that NOTHING runs automaticly. tweak'e (69)

490426 2006-10-10 02:16:00 yeh you wouln'dt want to do it with a .wav file cause it'd be quite large even for a few seconds of sound.....if you convert it to mp3 that'd help a lot in that regard......getting it to play automatically......yep well it'd have to be 'embedded' into a html email..... drcspy (146)
