| 490222 | 2006-10-09 01:12:00 | Hi Toshiba laptop A100 - 6 mths old. DVD RW Itunes will burn to CDR no prob. DVD driver burns to DVD RW media no prob Cant burn files (ie jpegs) to CDR - error message says cant burn to single writer media. AGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHH HELP! |

| 490224 | 2006-10-09 01:54:00 | HI Cant click and drag any files - or use the software that came with laptop - Sonic RecordNow - error message asks for an 'appendable disk' whatever that means. Cant format the blank CDR as the software does 'not support write once media' If i try and access though windows it says the D drive is not accessible. The DVD drive plays movies/cd's no problem and WILL burn to blank CD- R disks using Itunes and WILL click and drag to DVD RW. ! |

The drive is DVD RAM and apparently this cant cope with being a CD R drive at the same time as a DVD RAM drive, so under properties/recording tab - click enable CD recording - which means now cannot use as DVD RAM unless i unclick this BUT i can use a drag and drop drive!
