1407908 2015-09-04 00:47:00 Husband's cellphone Vodafone 895N has lost sound when listening to radio without headphones. Notifications for texts and calls are OK. Any help please. katharinem (3459)
1407909 2015-09-04 01:57:00 My cell will only run on radio with headphones connected.
Tap the speaker icon to get sound from speaker, but the headphones have to stay connected as antenna.

1407911 2015-09-04 02:53:00 Thanks. He has downloaded the Radio NZ app and used to listen to news etc without headphones but not able to do that now. Has to have headphones to get the sound. His previous and my current phone-both Samsungs..do not need headphones to listen. Stored music from other sources eg PC - and music from websites also needs headphones to be heard. katharinem (3459)
1407912 2015-09-04 03:45:00 Does it have audio from music saved to internal memory? Driftwood (5551)
1407913 2015-09-05 06:36:00 No-just been through all settings with stored music item playing but audible only through headphones. katharinem (3459)
1407914 2015-09-05 06:49:00 I'd be suspecting the internal switch if the speaker dosent come on when you disconnect the headphones.
Or the speaker audio has been tuned off somehow.

1407915 2015-09-05 09:01:00 OK-yes we thought something along those lines and have checked settings every which way except of course the way to fix it. When he first had the phone - only a few months ago - the sound was fine with and without headphones. Might check and see if there's a specific forum for Vodafone fones. Otherwise it's a pretty good phone. katharinem (3459)
