| 1407678 | 2015-08-31 06:29:00 | Apologies if this is not the correct forum to raise this on - I have some US DVDs I want to play - my present DVD player is at least 10+ years old and spits the dummy with UK DVDs and may do the same with the US ones. I am considering buying a replacement DVD player. My Panasonic smart TV does not have a Lightbox app so I have to use my laptop to access that facility.... it doesn't have a DVD player.... I see that some of the present crop of DVD plays have apps for such as Lightbox, Netflix etc. so I am wondering if I would be better to buy a DVD player with the apps, or just get another laptop with a DVD drive. I see that some of the more expensive DVD players allow you to record BUT only free to air stuff - I really only watch TVNZ for the News.... otherwise I watch Sky.... So opinions please - DVD player with apps or Laptop with DVD drive onto which I could load appropriate apps? TIA Bryden |

| 1407680 | 2015-08-31 08:46:00 | Yup doesnt matter what DVD you get. It would have to support multizone if its US or UK. Or anything else other than Zone 4 Unless you use or buy a program that supports them |

| 1407683 | 2015-09-01 05:49:00 | I have a Panasonic and had the same problem , was told to google with the exact model and it will come up with a code to put in (step by step guide) and it will multi-zone the player and will play any zone , easy as.
