1398735 2015-04-18 00:13:00 Theres many Videos and training courses available. One that I've just found on youtube relating to File Server Resource Manager . Dont know if these will be of any use or not
www.youtube.com Part 2 is right after that.

Been doing quite a bit of re-learning myself on Server2012 R2, esp Active Directory, Deployment Workbench and Windows Deployment Services. This is so I can load up new installs from a PXE boot, from syspreped .wim files ( saves a lot of time doing a fresh install, then having to do all the windows updates, install Office etc) :)

Do you know anything about them so I can let you know the problem . If I can make a suggestion please -- It would be a lot more easier and helpful if the problem was known. Others may have come across the same problem before and simply " know the Answer" :)

One comment you made

One thing with servers and their tasks, you generally cant take shortcuts as some functions have to have other options/setting installed first.

We've had a WDS server setup in our workshop for a while now, saves a lot of time doing Windows installs!
I've just the other day redone the Windows 7 & 8 install images to include all of the latest MS updates as the Windows 7 updates were starting to get out of hand and taking a few hours to install once Windows was installed.

We also have the Eset PE boot environment on there, for doing external virus scans, Memtest+, and a couple of other things I can't remember right now.

1398738 2015-04-18 07:30:00 Depending on what you are running will depend on how much power / Resources you need. If you are running a Second Server in Hyper-V then you'll need the appropriate specs.

The Server 2012 I'm using is currently only being used as a Deployment Server and File storage Server. Its only got 3GB Memory and works fine. Hyper-V is installed but have not put a OS in yet-- Any guess why ;)

Can i send u the document and the question where i get error . I'm no expert on Server 2012, Far from it, you would be better off posting the problem(s) here. If I happen to know or can find a solution I would reply, but there are others that have WAY MORE experience in Servers than I do.

I basically learn what I need to so I can do what ever is required. As I mentioned before
Others may have come across the same problem before and simply " know the Answer"

Wont walk away from a challenge though. :)

Had a few problems with 8.1 failing after a Sysprep /generalize /oobe option. Got into the endless loop of Windows could not complete the installation /restart Error.

Finally found a article using Power Shell - works a treat now

Captured the image, and lay it back down on new installs.
