| 1399120 | 2015-04-24 00:53:00 | Well I for one cannot see what all the fuss is about. I agree that JK made a dick of himself on this occasion and nobody should, uninvited, touch an-others hair or anything else for that matter however this is nothing but a continuing left inspired media beat-up in an attempt to get a hit on him. I fully accept that there are people that do not like him and never will but it takes a special kind of hate to try and turn this particular molehill into a mountain. It is also interesting to see that the those both in this forum and in the MSM making the most comments anti Key now could see nothing wrong in a labour mayor sleeping with the staff or a labour MP exploiting workers. It will get boring if I continue that list. |

I am surprised though that Granny Herald seems to be behind it as they used to be as biased as hell towards National. Wonder whats happened there? |

It does not matter which party they come from left right or way out wacky left or way out wacky right they always just tell, at the very best, part truths and hope you are to thick to read between the lines. I had the occasion some years ago of spending a little time with a couple of fairly senior cabinet ministers. There was an election coming up and neither of them would agree that it was a nice day just in case you were praying for rain. It is all about getting votes to get or keep them in office and with very rare exceptions that is all they care about. Good example, Helen Clark introduced WFF with the aim of turning a fair few of middle NZ into beneficiaries and retaining power, it worked well for a while. Now the current government has kept it going for much the same reasons. For those that do not know Working For Families is a clever scheme where the government takes more tax off workers than they need, charges an administration fee, and then gives what is left back as a benefit. The average voter appears to be too thick to figure that they are being conned. |
